A Family Beach Shoot

One of the things I love about photographing weddings, is meeting people. By the end of the day they feel like old friends. After the big day though, we go off on our separate ways. It is therefore always a real treat to meet up with the bride and groom a few years down the line and to find out what they have been up to. This is one of the reasons why I was so happy to receive an email from Alison and Kyle asking me if I would like to take some photos of them on a beach with their new baby boy Hamish. I photographed Alison and Kyle’s wedding a few years ago at the very lovely Polhawn Fort. It was absolutely fantastic to catch up with them and meet Hamish (he is a lovely little lad). The photos that we got are just what they should be. A portrait of a growing, happy family. Cheers guys and hope to catch up with you in another couple of years.
