Cornish Pirates Rugby Team PR Shoot

The Six Nations Rugby Tournament has just under way for 2015. I took a break from watching some superb rugby to catch up on archiving work from 2014. One of my high points over the last year (and a bit) was to photograph the Cornish Pirates Rugby Team for their 2014 calendar. The Pirates are a great team and a fantastic bunch of lads – it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. The brief from for this project was based on showcasing the team in the context of Cornwall’s award winning iconic mining heritage landscape (two great Cornish brands!). I love the shots we got as a result, I hope you do as well.
